Stupid human pet tricks on caturday

Happy Caturday

A friend of mine believes in astrological charts and that there are days one needs to avoid. I believe that we don't live in a predetermined universe where superstition rules, but every now and then there are certain days...

I was sleep deprived, had just found out that women should suffer the way they did in the middle ages. Decided on a news free day. Showered. Changed. Felt like having a coke (which I rarely drink), opened the can which foamed its contents. Changed pants. Cleaned carpet. Decided on a tea. Tore the tea at the wrong end. Tea dust everywhere. Cleaned it up. Knocked something over. Tea dust on papers. Cleaned it up. Tripped over a charging cable. Tea dust went flying. Cleaned it up. Back to coke. Open another can. Forget to tap it. Foamed again. I just did that. Clean legs. Change pants. Clean carpet. Clean brain? Now I really want a tea.

Only tea left is not tea, but spouse's berryfruityroibosspices. No tea. Decide to listen to my star chart. (Can't face grocery store). Step in tape. Why is there tape on the floor? (Cats knocked over cosmetic bathroom garbage bin). Stuck to them. Stuck to me. Clean it up. Stuck to other foot.

Attempt beverage situation again. New OJ carton design catches on glass rim. Knocks over glass. Clean it up. What is this??? Decide to call it a day as I've either been left behind in the rapture or it's Loki's birthday.

Happy Caturday.

  1. I'm not a superstitious person, but that confluence of events would have me wondering!

  2. Sleep deprived is what stands out if you ask me. Also, tea dust? Good grief, I hope at least your coffee is a decent version of the real thing.
Tomorrow will be a better day.

    1. Well. The nonsense persisted. Slept a little. Made coffee and the lid of the sugar dispenser fell into the mug.
Tea dust as surprised as you are. It's celestial seasoning so should be decent. Which brands are good there?
When does tomorrow start? Because this is getting weird.
Thank you Sabine. Bad day, tried to lighten it with humor.

  3. Whoa. This experience was like a Rube Goldberg machine in draft mode.

    1. Codex no marbles or levers were involved. Didn't know those machines had a name.
